About

As an Assistant Professor of Digital Media at Hood College and PhD graduate in Communications Media from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, I bring together academic scholarship and creative practice in media and communication. My teaching spans both theory and practice, with courses such as Media and Society, Principles of Speech Communication, Business Communication, and Global Media. Through these classes, I help students critically examine the relationship between media, culture, and technology while developing essential communication and storytelling skills.

Before joining Hood College, I taught media production courses in storytelling, web design, video editing, and animation, and served as the Web Developer for WIUP Radio and Webmaster for the Communications Media Department at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I also worked as a Live Sports Broadcaster, directing and streaming IUP Crimson Hawks games.

My research explores how emerging technologies—particularly Artificial Intelligence and Virtual Reality—transform media production and communication practices. I am especially interested in how AI can enhance creativity, efficiency, and storytelling in digital content creation, and how immersive environments can foster collaboration and engagement.

I am passionate about blending creative expression with technical innovation to craft meaningful digital experiences and empower students to adapt and lead in an evolving media landscape.
